New Meta Lab Locations
Meta is expanding its retail presence with new Meta Lab stores in three major U.S. cities. The Las Vegas location will open at the Wynn Las Vegas on October 16, offering a space for visitors to explore the company’s wearable technology. In Los Angeles, the shop on Melrose Avenue will reopen on October 24 as a permanent flagship, expanding to more than 20,000 square feet. The New York shop on Fifth Avenue is currently scheduled to open on November 13.
In addition to these new sites, Meta’s Bay Area store in Burlingame, California remains open, providing another venue for hands‑on experiences.
Demo Booking Process
Consumers can book demonstrations of Meta’s smart glasses through the company’s website. Initial demo appointments are available at the Burlingame and Los Angeles locations, with additional booking options for non‑Meta Lab stores. The website notes that appointments in many major cities are already filled through mid‑October, reflecting strong demand for the technology.
Upcoming Product Launches
Meta’s latest smart glasses, the Ray‑Ban Display model, are priced at $799 and are set to launch on September 30. The company has also introduced a second‑generation version of the Ray‑Ban Meta glasses. Following that, Meta plans to release the Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses, priced at $499, on October 21.
These retail expansions and product rollouts are part of Meta’s broader strategy to bring its augmented‑reality hardware directly to consumers, allowing them to experience the capabilities of smart glasses in real‑world settings.
