What are spaces in Meta's Muse AI?
Meta is giving users a way to build their own app-like tools inside its Muse AI assistant. The new feature, called “spaces,” lets Muse generate custom interfaces for tasks like shopping, school schedules, music tracking, and trivia games. Users can interact with those spaces directly in the Muse app.
How do you create a space in Muse?
Creating one is meant to be simple. Users describe the space they want, then keep adjusting it by asking Muse for changes. Once a space is built, users can check things off, add notes and make edits right inside it.
Can Muse spaces update information automatically?
Spaces can also be tied to outside apps. When a space connects to a relevant app, Muse updates pricing, dates and other information in the background, so the tool stays current without manual refreshes.
Organization is flexible, too. Users can add spaces to the sidebar in the Muse app or move them to the main tab. They can also set a schedule for when each space appears. Meta offered an example: a person could keep a weekly planner front and center during the workweek, then swap it for a weekend plans space on Saturday.
Meta is rolling out spaces to all Muse users. The launch comes with a “specialized” version of the company’s Muse Wonder AI model. Meta also says it is exploring ways to let users share their spaces with others and collaborate on them, though it has not announced a timeline for those options.
