What does Monday.com's Harmony do?
Monday.com has launched Harmony, a voice AI platform that calls sales leads, qualifies them and passes the most promising ones to human sales reps. The company said Monday that the product is aimed at mid-market and large businesses in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Singapore.
Harmony doesn't rely on one large AI model. Instead, it runs a set of smaller models trained on real customer calls, and each one handles a single job, such as qualifying a lead or responding to an objection. Because most of the processing happens on Harmony's own servers, the company says its agents reply in about 200 milliseconds.
“Unlike generic solutions that rely on third-party LLMs, our specialized models and structured logic translate into conversations that sound human and a response time that feels human,” said Vitali Margolin, who leads Harmony.
Does Harmony tell callers they are talking to AI?
The platform dials numbers, routes incoming calls and records consent, using telephony from Twilio. It writes call notes back into customer relationship management systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot. By default, its agents tell callers they are AI, according to Harmony's website.
Harmony's voice technology comes from OneAI, which Monday.com bought in May for $14.1 million in cash. According to a company filing, the deal was meant to speed up the launch of voice AI tools.
Monday.com said Harmony reaches up to 70% of the people it calls, but it did not explain how it measured that figure. The company also did not publish pricing.
One early user, UK car finance broker Bright Car Finance, said Harmony helped it close 9% more deals in less than a year. Before, the firm turned only about 5% of approved applications into finance agreements because leads went cold.
The launch comes as Monday.com reshapes itself around AI. In July, the company said it would cut about 620 jobs, roughly a fifth of its staff. In June, it set up a $200 million fund for workplace AI startups.
Harmony enters a crowded market. Voice AI startups Bland and Vapi have each raised $50 million this year.
