How does the Ultrafast feature work in Pro 500?
Pro 500 offers the highest included usage of the three plans, and users can select Ultrafast in the model picker. Ultrafast uses the plan's included usage first, then draws from the credit balance after that allowance is used. At launch, buying credits on Pro 100 or Pro 200 does not unlock Ultrafast.
Existing Pro 200 subscribers who were active at the eligibility cutoff or during the seven days before it may be eligible to keep their previous included usage allowance until October 29, 2026. After that date, their subscription will move to the lower included usage allowance, but their subscription price will remain at $200/month.
Users can purchase credits to continue using eligible features after using their plan's included allowance. Credits support eligible usage in Codex, ChatGPT Work, ChatGPT for Word, ChatGPT for Excel, and ChatGPT for PowerPoint. Availability depends on the plan and account, and credits do not provide additional usage for every ChatGPT model or feature.
To manage their subscription, users can open Settings → My Plan to view their subscription and available plan changes. They can also cancel their subscription through the platform where they purchased it, and uninstalling the ChatGPT app does not cancel the subscription.
