Microsoft and ASUS have announced pricing and pre‑order details for the new ROG Xbox Ally handheld consoles. The standard Ally will retail for $600, while the premium Ally X is set at $1,000. Both devices run Windows 11, support Xbox Game Pass, cloud streaming, and PC game installs, and feature 7‑inch 1080p 120 Hz displays. The Ally uses an AMD Ryzen Z2 A chip with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD; the Ally X upgrades to an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, 24 GB RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. Pre‑orders are open in multiple markets with a launch date of October 16.
