AT&T has introduced the Geo Modeler, a system that applies ray‑tracing technology and artificial intelligence to create detailed three‑dimensional representations of its network environment. By simulating how high‑frequency radio signals interact with buildings, trees and other obstacles, the model enables near‑real‑time adjustments to antenna angles, automatic self‑healing, and proactive planning for large events and severe weather. The company says the tool improves everyday performance, such as rush‑hour connectivity, while also allowing rapid deployment of resources before hurricanes or festivals.
