New Ceramic Ring Options

Oura is adding zirconia ceramic versions of its fourth‑generation ring, offering four color choices: midnight (teal), petal (pink), tide (mint green), and cloud (white). The ceramic material is described as extremely hard, capable of scuffing some metals, and is not a surface coating, meaning the color does not fade over time. These rings are thicker at 3.51 mm compared to the regular 2.88 mm ring and weigh between 5.1 g and 8.1 g, versus 3.3 g to 5.2 g for the standard model. Oura is rolling out a Health Panels service that lets users schedule blood tests through Quest Diagnostics. Once results are available, the app displays approximately 50 biomarkers related to cardiovascular and metabolic health. The results are reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider, and users can discuss them with Oura Advisor, the company’s AI chatbot, which offers non‑diagnostic guidance on whether values fall within normal ranges and suggestions for improvement. Tests cost $99, are FSA/HSA eligible, and are currently available only in the United States, with certain states excluded due to regulatory restrictions.

Oura is also launching a device recycling program that allows customers to send in older rings when upgrading. The combination of new aesthetic options, practical accessories, and expanded health services underscores Oura’s strategy to deepen its role in personal wellness and recovery tracking.
