A fast-growing events startup is bringing women together to tackle midlife problems with artificial intelligence. The Aged Intelligence Society hosts invite-only dinner parties where women “solve midlife problems using frontier tools,” according to WIRED, which spoke with the group’s founders.

The company was cofounded by Shoshana Berger and Nina Willdorf. Berger is a former WIRED editor who later became an editorial leader for companies including Notion and Ideo. Willdorf is the other half of the founding team.

The society calls itself a buzzy events business, and its format is built around small gatherings rather than conferences or product launches. The dinners are invite-only, which keeps the groups tight and focused on conversation among the guests.

The founders are betting that a social setting can help women who may feel left out of the AI conversation. Rather than learning the technology alone, guests come to the table to work through real problems together, using the same frontier tools that are reshaping work and industries across the country.

WIRED contributing editor Zoë Schiffer, who previously oversaw the magazine’s coverage of business and Silicon Valley, reported on the group.
