TechCrunchAI startup Nous Research, creator of the open‑source Hermes agent, has closed a new funding round led by Robot Ventures with participation from USV and other investors. The company is raising at least $75 million at a $1.5 billion post‑money valuation, according to sources familiar with the deal. The capital will fund expansion of Hermes’ product lineup and its cloud‑hosted services. Founded in 2023, Nous Research has already attracted $70 million from backers such as Paradigm and North Island Ventures.
