Google rolls out Gemini file‑generation feature, adding Word, Excel and LaTeX support

Google has begun rolling out an update to its Gemini chatbot that lets users create files directly from the chat window. By typing a simple request—such as “create a budget”—users can download the output as PDF, Word, Excel, LaTeX, CSV or other formats.
